After closing on September 16th to receive a renovation, Apple’s Third Street Promenade store in Santa Monica, California will reopen on November 17th at 10:00 A.M. Updates to the store will include a newly added Forum, expansive Video Wall, and Apple’s latest fixtures and displays.

To promote the store’s reopening, Apple has updated its retail webpage with line art themed by coastal colors and the tagline “For all the imagination under the sun.” The page notes:

If you’re planning to visit Third Street Promenade for the reopening, expect to see changes similar to those completed in the San Francisco Bay Area at Apple Palo Alto. Renovations this summer kept the store’s classic glass roof, tile flooring, and stone walls, but placed an emphasis on the Forum with a freestanding Video Wall and grove of indoor trees. Both stores share similar architecture, so design changes in Santa Monica will likely be consistent with its northern twin.

Apple hopes the redesigned store will be better suited to host the 60 new Today at Apple sessions arriving soon around the world. Prior to Third Street Promenade’s refresh, nearby stores in Century City and at Beverley Center were already remodeled to Apple’s latest in-store standards. You can now sign up for five exclusive sessions to be held on grand reopening weekend in Santa Monica here. The lineup includes:

  • Live Art: Playful Characters with Bumblebee Loves You
  • Photo Walks: Time Travel on the Promenade with Paul Pescador
  • Live Art: Illustration Battle with Secret Walls
  • Photo Walks: Skateboarding Shots with Zorah Olivia
  • Live Art: Using Your Imagination with Jess Rotter

Prior to Apple’s reopening at Third Street Promenade, Apple The Westchester in White Plains, NY will reopen on November 10th. The indoor mall store closed on May 6th for renovations.
