Apple has updated its WWDC app for iPhone and iPad with a new look and feel ahead of the annual conference later this month. The updated version of the app also includes tvOS support for the first time. This means video content and session information can be accessed from the fourth generation Apple TV.
WWDC version 5.0 also has a new theme starting with the icon. Last year’s version was bright with a purple icon and white user interface. This year’s app features a black and white icon with a dark theme similar to the Apple Watch and Activity apps only with blue highlights. Apple added iOS 9 features in the previous update including Picture-In-Picture support. The updated version goes further by including support for Split View as well.
WWDC kicks off on June 13th in San Francisco where we’ll see iOS 10, OS X 10.12, and new versions of tvOS and watchOS. You can read our ongoing roundup of what we expect and don’t expect to see announced here.

• Watch live streamed sessions on iOS and tvOS. • Stream or download WWDC videos from this year and previous years. • Start watching on one iOS device, and pick up where you left off on another iOS device or on the new Apple TV. • Browse times, locations, and descriptions for sessions, labs, and special events. • Mark schedule items as favorites. • Keep up with the latest news, get important notifications, and see new photos throughout each day. • View accessible maps to find your way around Moscone West. • Provide feedback on content and speakers for each session. • Add your pass to Wallet for faster check-in at WWDC.
