Aquaman will arrive in theaters in a little less than a month, but new stills of Arthur Curry battling Orm have just arrived. Aquaman first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 in 1941, and was also one of the original six Justice League members. He made his cinematic debut in 2016 in a cameo during Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and returned a year later for Justice League.

From marketing materials and information that have been released about the film thus far, Aquaman looks to have two villains; King Orm and Black Manta. While Black Manta, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, is often considered Aquaman’s arch nemesis, King Orm will be the main villain in Aquaman. King Orm, played by Patrick Wilson, is Arthur’s half-brother, who plans to wage war against the surface world, which leads to Aquaman discovering he is the heir to the throne in Atlantis. The trailers have briefly shown the battle between the half-brothers, but now fans can gaze upon two new stills from their underwater fight.

First released by Empire, the two stills show Aquaman in his battle armor as he battles King Orm for the throne. The first image shows Arthur storming into battle with his full battle armor and his five-pronged trident, while the second shows Orm in action as he kicks his half-brother in the chest. The two images can be seen below, and both appear to take place during the arena battle seen in the trailers.

While Warner Bros. has certainly had some trouble kicking off their superhero universe, Aquaman could continue to turn things around for the studio. Early reactions to Aquaman have remained mostly positive, praising the film for being a fun and visually stunning adventure. Previously it was estimated that Aquaman would mark a box office low for the DC movie franchise, but that could potentially turn around now that early reviews are in and more stills like the ones above make their way online. Aquaman has often been at the center of jokes, with many people considering him a lame superhero, but James Wan’s upcoming film looks anything but lame.
